My Approach

Psychotherapy is an investment in yourself and your relationships. It is an opportunity to explore your thoughts, attitudes, emotions, beliefs, sensations and relationships with a trained therapist. It is my goal to establish a space where you can feel comfortable to simply be, just as you are, without feeling judged or criticized. It is within this compassionate and accepting environment that you will be able to gain greater understanding, allowing you to heal past traumas and habitual patterns keeping you caught in cycles of stress, anxiety, anger, depression, self-defeating beliefs, and feelings of inadequacy. With your newfound perspective you can establish a sense of peace, wisdom and ultimately, thrive. My approach is one that is holistic, in that I integrate all the aspects of the self: mental, physical, emotional and even spiritual. I provide a healthy balance of sincere authenticity, openness, and compassion with directness and practicality. Based on my clients needs, I utilize traditional psychotherapy along with Mindfulness and Self-Compassion training.  I work collaboratively with no preconceived ideas or agendas. I see you as the expert on you, and will be the skilled conduit to your stated goals. Together we will create a treatment plan that is flexible and responsive to your individual needs and experience.
